Women's group Monday and Thursday morning this week

Last week's first Women's Group meeting was great. Here's a pic of 2 of us, taken before the battery went on the camera!

FREE tea, coffee, sandwiches. Plus friendship.

(The African Caribbean Centre is YOUR centre so we want to know what we can do to encourage you to use it more. You tell us what you want, we’ll apply for funding and if we’re successful, you will get what you want. All ideas welcome.)

Drop the kids (if you have them) off to school and head into our city centre location on the following dates. From 9.30am to 12 noon. NB Children, boys and girls are also welcome.

African & Caribbean Network at the West End Festival Mardi Gras Parade

Sunday 9th June was a fabulous day for the A&CN. We had a small but colourful and lively group who made costumes and took part in the parade. And it was all thanks to Noel Bridgeman, a great friend of the A&CN and producer of the parade and Isabel the fabulous art workers. Next year we'll have 5 times as many of us on it.
