Official Opening of THE NILE - our new coffee shop PLUS new African market

It's been a long time coming but at last, the African Caribbean Centre coffee shop 'The Nile' will open on Saturday 26th May, the final day of African Liberation Week. At the same time, we launch our monthly African Market. We're pretty sure it's the first of its kind in Glasgow, possibly even Scotland.

*SPECIAL OPENING OFFER BELOW*

Come along and sample cakes and snacks from Africa and the Caribbean and sit back and enjoy the ambiance with a well deserved cup of tea or coffee. Then have a wander round and sample the wares of traders who have sourced the very best in goods from Africa and the Caribbean for you.

The official ribbon cutting takes place at 12 noon on Saturday 26th May and will be performed by our local Member of the Scottish Parliament Sandra White MSP.

*Opening offer - on Saturday 26th May only, come in to The Nile and buy a tea or coffee and we will be delighted to serve you with your complimentary choice of sweet treats from our African and Caribbean range. Plus, tea and coffee is only £1.50 - where in the Merchant City (or City Centre for that matter) can you get that kind of value. Don't forget, with your drink you get a free cake / sweet treat. One treat per customer but if they're really so irresistable you are very welcome to purchase more :-)

Official Opening with Sandra White MSP is 12 noon
The Nile is open from 11am to 5pm
The African MArket is open from 11am to 4pm
