African Caribbean Centre is coming alive again!

Yes, we have a new blog and a full programme of events for you. Every day we are meeting new people - African music promoters, fashion designers, musicians, dancers, artists - who want to bring their talents to the African Caribbean Centre in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City.

This blog will keep you up to date with events.

You are ALL welcome. Everyone's welcome. We had someone drop by the other day to ask if you have to be black to come to a night at the African Caribbean Centre.

I'm glad he asked because it's better that I got the opportunity to tell him that the answer is no, of course not. We have a great mix of folk at each of our nights and the one thing they all have in common is they go away with smiles on their faces and they actually THANK us for a great night.

The African Caribbean Centre is a work in progress but people just love it. And the bar prices are reasonable too. So why not keep an eye on this blog, if you see anything you fancy trying pop along and say hello? Everyone is very very welcome, I promise you.

Best wishes,

Anne (Voluntary Business and Events Development Manager)

PS We are ALWAYS on the lookout for reliable volunteers so email accglasgow@gmail.com if you'd like a chat about it.
